2023 Clubhouse and Property Rules

  • Officers and the on-duty bartender have the authority to refuse service to any member or guest
  • Officers and the on-duty bartender have the authority to request any member or guest to leave the club
  • Only the on-duty bartender, officers and board members shall open the door to allow people in to the club
  • No children under the age of 18 are permitted to sit at the bar. No exceptions!
  • All drinks will be served from the serving lane if you are not seated at the bar. Please respect others’ personal space and belongings while seated at the bar; there will not be reaching between people
  • No over the counter or to-go sales of alcohol are permitted
  • EXCESSIVE PROFANITY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED OR TOLERATED. Please respect other patrons
  • NO FIGHTING on club property. This is grounds for immediate ejection of all parties involved
  • No smoking in the clubhouse during youth events. The board reserves the right restrict smoking during any sponsored event
  • On-duty bartenders are restricted from having any guests
  • All guests must leave the club with the member who brought them in. No exceptions!
  • Members are responsible for the conduct of family and guests in the clubhouse and on club properties. They will assume responsibility for damages to club property
  • Member are permitted to bring in 2 guests in addition to immediate family members. Guests above this number must be approved by the president prior to bringing them in
  • No guests other than immediate family will be allowed to attend the annual club picnic or any of the club-sponsored holiday parties.
  • Non-members, excluding immediate family, will be allowed only 3 visits to the clubhouse
  • New members will be taken in when the census is down and the charter is opened for a specific number of applicants set by the Board of Directors
  • New members will have a 1-year probationary period. During that time, the new member is not permitted to sponsor new applicants or run for any elected position. They shall be appointed by the president to serve on a committee in the organization
  • Any member wishing to run for office must attend at least 3 regular meetings in the current year and be signed in the meeting book for proof of attendance
  • Dues will be collected April 1 through June 30. Unpaid membership pills will be pulled from all drawings at this time. A grace period of 1 month will be granted until July 31. There will be a $25 penalty assessed during this period
  • Any blackballed application will be reviewed by 3 board members before a decision is made to accept or deny membership
  • Any firearms won at the club through small games of chance must have its ownership transferred before taking possession of the firearm
  • No speeding or reckless driving in the parking lot nor on all other club property
  • Parking is at your own risk. The club is not responsible for damage to your vehicle or lost or stolen items. Video surveillance of the parking lot can be requested if an incident has been suspecting of occurring
  • The dumpster is for club use only. Permission to use the dumpster will be granted by the president only
  • No littering or dumping on club property
  • Cutting standing timber on club property is prohibited. Members can obtain permission from the board to cut dead falls for personal use. The club reserves the right to deny cutting certain wood that will be or is designated for clubhouse use
  • ATV, side-by-side’s (buggy’s) and all other off-road recreational vehicle riding on club properties are for members only
  • Shooting range hours are from 9 a.m. (0900 hrs) to dusk unless closed for a function and/or ‘Range Closed’ signs are posted
  • No alcohol is permitted on any of the ranges where signs are posted stating ‘No Alcohol Beyond This Point’
  • The upper rifle/pistol range will be closed for the PA deer rifle season except for the Sunday’s that are not designated as a hunting day set the Game Commission. Emergency shooting to check scope will done on the upper rifle/pistol range only
  • The lower range will be closed for all deer seasons and Sunday’s designated by the Game Commission as a hunting day
  • Hunting on club property is permitted to members only, with the exception of U.S. Armed Forces members showing proper I.D. who must accompany a club member
  • Tree stands on club property must have a metal tag with owners name and member number. All other tree stands will be taken down and removed
  • Taking club property or intentional damage to the property or grounds will result in immediate expulsion and prosecution
  • No member or non-member will be permitted to post any information concerning Charleroi Sportsmen’s Association on the Internet or any other public notice without permission from the board of directors
  • Intimidation and/or insubordination towards any club officer or board member will result in ejection from the club grounds by law enforcement if necessary
